Church Council

At First CRC Guelph, council's  primary role is to provide general leadershp for the vision and direction of the church. It is made up of members of the congregation, commissioned as elders and deacons to carry out the administrative matters of the local church.
 
ELDERS:
The elders are responsible for the spiritual wellbeing of God's people. Regular Wednesday meetings focus on pastoral care and oversight of the various ministries of the church.

DEACONS:
The deacons' mandate:

• assess needs of the families and individuals in our church community 
• promote stewardship and hospitality
• exercise financial benevolence
• in word and deed demonstrate the care of the Lord Jesus Christ

PASTORAL CARE MINISTRY:
Pastoral care teams serve and care for our church family both spiritually and physically. Team members provide pastoral care to a particular church district. If you would like to know more contact the church office.
